et me introduce myself: My name is Carl Morse and I have
lived in
Kansas City
since
1961. My wife Marjorie & I have been
married 46 years. We have one son and two
granddaughters (9 & 11) living in,
St Louis,
Missouri
.
I graduated High School in Rich Hill, Missouri. Most of my college hours are from attending
night classes. A few years back I
completed my Under Graduate Degree online majoring in Entrepreneurial
Management from
Concordia College
. I worked 41 years in the Natural Gas
Distribution Industry in a variety of jobs beginning in the Mailroom,
Construction & Maintenance, and a host of clerical and management
positions. I have been a Trainer, System
Administrator and Technical Writer. I
retired in 2005. I am a Life Member of
The National Rifle Association (NRA) since 1969 and currently a Benefactor
Member of NRA and member of the Second Amendment Task Force. I am a longtime member of
Peace
Lutheran Church
where I have served in a variety of positions, boards and committees. I am a past secretary of the Kansas City Zone
Lutheran Laymen¢s League and have served on the
Convention Committee for the International Lutheran Laymen¢s
League. I am a past secretary of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, Western Jackson County
Missouri Chapter. I was active as a boy
and adult for many years in Boy Scouts of America. I am a Warrior in The Tribe of Mic-O-Say and member of Order of the Arrow. I am Wood Badge Trained and have received the
District Award of Merit. For two years I
served as Finance Chairman for Exploring Division, Heart of America Council, and
Boy Scouts of America.
